When I’m feeling sad
These are a few of the tools I use to make myself feel better:
- Sing! No foolin, when the chaos gets to be too much, I put on my headphones and sing along…loudly if I’m really annoyed. It raises my energy and helps me move.
- Laughter. Laughter Yoga is one of my favorite tools. You don’t have to have a reason to laugh, you just have to start, and your body begins to respond as if you really are happy. This is my favorite video to get you started:
- EFT/Tapping. I use this a lot to get rid of negative feelings that I want to be rid of quickly, and I’ve had great success with it. Tapping.com has some great free videos.
- Breathing & yoga. Yoga is all about using your breath to guide movement, so they tend to go together. Breath can also be used to guide emotion, and ground with Gaia. Oh, and clear traffic. lol Been playing amazing games with my breath. I blow them away!
